LeoList, the largest classified site in Canada has decided to adopt a new way to promote its listing among people. Vancouver based classified site has announced that it will replace Right Column Ads with Featured Ads in order to advertise products as well as services in a new manner. It has said that there are many benefits of using Featured Ads over Right Column Ads.
While announcing about the move, Leolist wrote on its official blog that the size of Featured Ads is three times larger than the right column ads. In addition to this, these ads are always shown on the first page which offers a big advantage for the classified site. Leolist also revealed that there are only 20 Featured Ads which are active for each location and category of LeoList.
The classified giant had made an announcement about the use of Featured Ads on its site just after it declared the change of ownership to carry out its classified service in a more effective way. The LeoList team said that the use of Featured Ads will give a new direction for the company as well as the brand. This brand has been popular in Canada for providing an advertisement service for advertisers to promote their local businesses.
