In an important move, Truecaller has announced its partnership with Redbus, a bus ticketing platform app to facilitate its existing users in booking tickets on the app only. Redbus will be seen as a mini app in the payment section on the Truecaller app. The heads of both the firms have expressed their excitement after the partnership and explained in a press release how this partnership would benefit the users. With this collaboration, it will be possible for consumers to carry out end-to-end booking transactions using Truecaller login credentials. It will allow users to search, compare and checkout of Redbus using Truecaller app.
Truecaller has integrated its robust UPI platform in the app which will allow its users to carry out payment transactions for booking bus tickets using Truecaller Pay. While expressing the excitement about the collaboration with Redbus, the VP and Head of Payments, Sony Joy said this partnership would not only prosper growth of both the firms but also it will provide smooth transactional experiences to customers. Also, due to the combination of Redbus’s expertise, Truecaller’s scale of distribution and fast BHIM UPI payments on Truecaller Pay, booking tickets will be fun for people.
