IRS of the Federal Government Announced the Opening Dates of the New Tax Season

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States has announced the opening dates of the new tax season. Income taxpayers will be allowed to file their income tax returns from January 27, 2020.

IRS has also announced to accept income tax return files both in paper and electronic ways. The taxpayers across the country can expect federal income tax returns by April 15, 2020. There are almost 150 million taxpayers in the country and the IRS will process their income tax return application before the due date.

Chuck Rettig, the IRS Commissioner, said that the country is going to enter into the new tax season. And IRS will try its best to support the taxpayers through its dedicated workforce.

There are some tools and information available for the taxpayers on IRS’ websites which they can use to file income tax returns. IRS is looking to make this tax season more smoother for the taxpayers. A tax preparer is available for the taxpayers that will be providing the consultation on the tax season to the individuals, communities, and businesses.

There are many software and tax professionals available that help the taxpayers to file tax returns as soon as possible. The software companies and tax professionals will start submitting the tax files to the IRS from January 27, 2020. IRS is encouraging them to file their tax returns online so that they can receive refunds quickly.

The online platforms are accurate and IRS affiliated. IRS is a revenue service of the federal government that accepts income tax files on behalf of the US government.
