Global Esports Director Kim Phan has Left Blizzard

Blizzard esports director, Kim Phan, has announced to leave the gaming company. She was associated with the company for the last 13 years and submitted her decision to exit the company by posting on the official Team Liquid forums. Phan said that June 14 was the last day she worked at Blizzard and that she will work for “a new endeavor” within the video game industry.

Kim Phan wrote that she had a wonderful time with the company and that it is an honor for her that she got the chance to serve Blizzard. The esports director said that she would never forget the excellent experiences she had while working with her teammates. She urged gamers to submit their concerns on various gaming issues to Blizzard. Phan completed writing the post by saying that she will be attending BlizzCon in the current year as “a diehard fan.”

Phan is not the only one to submit her resignation in the company. Earlier, the former Activision Blizzard Esports Leagues President and CEO, Nate Nanzer submitted his resignation to the company. Many sources are claiming that the appointment of the new CEO, Pete Vlastelica and the low-morale of Blizzard’s esports teams for Call of Duty and Overwatch are the reasons for the departure of Phan and Nanzer. But there is no comment by Phan on such rumors so far.
